Pioneering Finance for Conservation
Forest Trends is a non-profit organization that seeks to raise awareness of environmental conservation and pioneer finance for conservation activities, through research publications, events that bring diverse individuals together, and boots-on-the-ground negotiation with key stakeholders in the new forestry industry. When we started working with them, they needed to design a new web presence that unified their disparate branding elements under a single design system. They also wanted to shift their organizational tone of voice to cater more to the public than exclusively to industry insiders, academics, and experts. We designed a totally revamped digital web experience and brand refresh for their organization, and the UX/UI for several major web features, handing our creative off to their in-house development team for implementation.
Our creative team designed a new visual brand system that blended modern aesthetics with organic elements to create a visual experience that feels warm and inviting while also conveying the expertise and subject-matter authority of the organization.
